He's been making plans to take his wife, Eva, and Luciana out of the country away from the violence and her family. But Eva does not want to leave.Christopher and Luciana arrive at the ranch for a meeting with the Vargas family, only to find the entire family, including his wife, have been slaughtered. 2. This was a fast story to read!lot going on gangster murdersa single father moves to a small town with his teenage daughter, she babysits for a newly divorced woman that has a domestic violent stalker ex, so that's a problem but someone is after him and the kid too. Kept me entertained!

    3. Readers first meet Sarah in She Can Tell, the second book in Melinda Leigh’s She Can series. Even with that many books between She Can Kill still easily works as a stand-alone. I was happy to see that not only does Sarah get a happily ever after but he comes in the form of a tall dark and handsome knight in shiny Mercedes. Sarah deserves it. She is still contending with an abusive husband even though he is an ex at this point. She’s struggling to build a life focused on her girls and centere [...]

    4. In what's become a traditional signature from Melinda Leigh, the first chapter in her latest She Can Kill wham boom bams you and your hooked for the rest of the book. Little departure from the typical hero in this one. Cristan Rojas and his daughter have been in the previous books but he was always a bit of a mystery and elusive about his past. Argentinian hit man would not have been what I thought the Latin hottie was hiding about his past. He is now a man who just wants to live in peace and ra [...]

    5. I enjoyed this romantic suspense with a powerful beginning and lots of bad guys. I liked that both hero and heroine were dedicated parents. It was a bit heavy on evil intentions and light on romance but still a good book in the series. Cristan's tries to have a low profile lifestyle and his daughter is babysitter for Sarah's children.

    6. Best one yet.I like all her books but this one has a more complex plot. Love how she tied in the previous characters.

    7. Two-haiku review:He's hiding from pastShe's stuck with abusive exBoth are in dangerVery excitingShocking when killer revealedLots of violence

    8. She can kill by Melinda Leigh is a mystery and thriller and romance read. Reformed assassin Cristan Rojas just wants to raise his daughter in peace. But after twelve years on the run, he learns that even the quiet little town of Westbury, Pennsylvania, has many hidden dangers. Although he can’t shake the feeling he’s under surveillance, Cristan’s attraction to Sarah Mitchell continues to grow, as do his concerns that his secret past could jeopardize anyone who gets too close to him. This wa [...]

    9. SHE CAN KILL is without a doubt a spine chiller from beginning to the dramatic ending. Melinda Leigh introduces readers to her protagonist, Cristan Rojas. Leigh shares Cristan’s backstory giving details of how and why he and his daughter Lucia left Argentina and ending up in Westbury, Pennsylvania. The author provides additional information about their past as needed. Her story picks up twelve years later in Westbury, Pennsylvania. Cristan’s main desire is to provide a normal life for his da [...]

    10. She Can Kill is the sixth and latest release in Melinda Leigh's fantastic She Can series. I loved all the previous books and couldn't put this one down either. I actually had to add the audio book version so I could continue with the story when I didn't have time to sit down to read. She Can Kill is Cristan's and Sarah's story, who first appeared in book 2 She Can Tell, but each book works fine as a stand alone, as the plot focuses on one particular couple. Cristan has been trying to escape his [...]

    11. She Can Kill brings back to Characters from She Can Tell Sarah Parker and Cristan Rojas. We finally get to find about the mysterious Cristan Rojas and boy he was worth the wait. Sarah and Cristan have so many problems the reader can only wonder how they will find any peace in their lives.Melinda Leigh's She Can Series has created a list of characters who are not only name of pages but so life like that you feel you have grown with them from book 1 to book 5. Sarah has left her abusive Ex-Husband [...]

    12. I was given an ARC of She Can Kill from NetGalley for an honest review and this is my review. This was another excellent addition to Melinda Leigh's She Can series which seems to get better with each new book. This book focused around Sarah who had to deal with her crazy ex husband who was not ready to let her go and Cristan who was on the run from his past. So the book had a bit of double angst going on, but the true mystery was who was trying to kill Cristan. This book was definitely filled with [...]

    13. Cristan Rojas has been on the run for 12 years. He is a reformed assassin but all he wants to do is live a quiet life with his daughter. He has been in Westbury, Pa for too long. His daughter has friends and it would be hard to uproot her. Some very deadly people would like to find them and Cristan suspects they may have found him. Sarah Mitchell is trying to raise her 2 young daughters after a nasty divorce from her abusive ex husband. Cristan and Sarah become friend and are attracted to each o [...]

    14. Cristan Rojas has been hiding out in the small town of Westbury, PA with his young daughter. They have been on the run for 12 years after his wife and family (arms dealers in Argentina) were slaughter and he narrowly escaped. Once an assassin, but now a doting father, he is always on the lookout for possible threats. This story starts fast and never lets up. The author has developed not only interested characters but complex characters. Subplots add to the dimension of this superb suspense. Deve [...]

    15. FUNNY HOW SECRETS HAVE A WAY OF COMING OUT WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT THEM. POOR CHRISTIAN EVERYTHING IN HIS NEW LIFE IS HEADING AT LIGHTENING SPEED TOWARD DISASTER. THE SECRETS HANG OVER THEIR HEADS LIKE THAT FAMOUS SWORD, THEY ARE ABOUT TO POP LIKE A GIANT ACNE PIMPLE. YUCKY! SARAH’S BEHAVIOR SORT OF GOT ON MY NERVES I KEPT WAITNG WONDERING HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE HER TO GROW A SET? I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HOW THIS MESS WAS EVER GOING TO BE STRAIGHTENED OUT. I WASN’T GOING TO BE VERY HAPPY IF [...]

    16. I received this book as an ARC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Melinda has done another excellent job of making you bond with her characters in her "She Can" series of books. There are plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing though without leaving you confused. I had a hard time putting this book down.

    17. Terrible narrationThe narrator finished every sentence with the same tone! I had my eyes closed and was practically hypnotizing myself with predicting how will will sound! Ok storyline but the narration was a big turnoff for me.

    18. He's on the run and she's trying to get rid of her abusive ex. Everyone has a past. Romance book which will keep you in suspense*An advanced copy of this book was given to me in exchange for an honest review*

    19. The plot was interesting, and I liked the characters. However the ending was too easy and left me slightly unsatisfied.

    20. (I received a free copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.)Twelve years ago, Cristan’s wife was murdered. He was forced on the run to keep his infant daughter safe. They’ve finally settled in a small Pennsylvania town, but he can’t shake the feeling that they are being watched.Newly divorced, Sarah is ready to start over. As her ex becomes increasingly hostile, she appreciates help from a neighbor. But the violence she senses beneath Cristan’s polished manners [...]

    21. This was the hardest book in series I have to rate. On one hand, I loved it. It was definitely the best mystery of all in the series. On the other, I was torn between two characters and totally wished it had gone a different way. I was sympathetic to both and wanted a different ending. This storyline kept me guessing from beginning to end and nothing was what it seemed. The twists were awesome, well thought out, and skillfully executed. The romance was very little in this book but the story on b [...]

    22. Another amazing book, this was probably the best of the five, a lot of twists in it which made me unsure some of the time where this book was going. Sarah and Criston both had there own issues to overcome and it was great to see how the story evolved. If there are more books in this series in the future I'll be reading them.

    23. Great ending to a great seriesI loved the ending to this series. The author wrapped up any questions I may have had from the earlier books. Yet, she did leave a few things open for any future books in this series. I for one, will be the first in line to purchase the books, should there be future ones.

    24. I received this book from First Reads in exchange for an honest reviewA highly suspenseful book, great story line although slightly predictable, very intriguing plot, although the author feels a little inexperienced (?) in setting the tone for each character. If it had a slightly better writing style this would have easily been rated 5 stars.

    25. Really. Really enjoyed the whole set. Will be a fan for life. Can't wait to read another series. But did she go to the state finals for the spelling bee?? Wrapped up the series exactly rightleave 'em wanting more.

    26. Unlimited. I liked this better I think than the other “She Can” books. This is a story about a man who escapes Buenos Aires after marrying into a family of gangsters and seeing the whole family killed including his wife by a rival gang. Twelve years later that comes back to haunt him.

    27. TThe book was awesome. I would have really liked it more if every so often a blank page showed up with a message saying it was downloading and I didn't know how to fix that so I missed pages of the, book. All 5 of the books I read in the series were great.

    28. Really good I really enjoyed this one. I’m hoping she continues the series. So much can happen to all of these people. I really liked the twist of the plot and it had me surprised in the end. Who would have thought it. Hmm

    29. Great Read!!This is a great series. It is book six, yet it an be read as a stand alone. This is abut Cristan and Sarah and how their past bring them together. It is full of action, suspense, and a little romance.

    30. The best one yet!! My one complaint, not of the book, is the font used for the 'texts' was impossible to read on a Kindle without having to change the size to the largest setting possible, decipher given the odd font and lack of spaces, then reverting. Extremely annoying and interruptive.
