    1. Wow! What a ride!!! 'Romeo Down' is one of those stories which starts the action right out of the starting gate and keeps your heart pounding until the very end. It's kinda like watching live coast guard rescues on the military DVIDS channel, raw and real and the stakes so high you'll find yourself rocking back and forth in your seat as you scroll your Nook to the next page. This is a novella depicting an incredibly realistic military rescue while under enemy fire, the action is both heroic and [...]

    2. Because some object to authors rating their own work, I choose to use this platform to mirror the results of the Kindle Edition, currently 4.7 stars with twenty reviews. Should that change, I will adjust its score accordingly here.Daniel Sean Ritter's second title, a supplemental glimpse into the man's life, was inspired in the same manner as his first. "Operation Naji" evolved from the conversation of characters within my first novel, "The Anvil of the Craftsman." RD originates in Ritter's prev [...]

    3. A great read just prior to a nap. Puts you right into the action I'm glad it was short as I couldn't put it down. A true action short story. I loved it.

    4. Action start to finish.Avery entertaining short story. Well written to keep the reader attention, just wish the story had been a little bit longer.

    5. I like the story overall, but for someone who is not familiarized with military jargon and terminology the dialog sometimes felt too technical and as a result sometimes it confused me. I guess that's how it is in real life and I suppose Amidei wanted to make it as real possible. Good little story that I liked, but not sure I will give his books a try.

    6. IntenseThis book is about the heroics of a U.S.A.F. pararescueman named Ritter. He is sent to find Romeo, a piolet downed in Iraq, hense the name "Romeo Down". I would recommend this to all military/nonfiction/history lovers.
