I love it when my high expectations for a book are met and then exceeded. I've read Marion Croslydon before and know she writes exceptional contemporary angst ridden romances but haven't read any of her paranormal romances until now. Now Gabriel will have to face his true enemy and get back what he has lost. This is a paranormal romance, and my first book from this author. Marie was out for revenge. She was going to make the MacLeod pay, they took away her family and her life.What she didn't plan on was on developing feelings for the enemy. I enjoyed Sin and Sorrow well enough. I did kind of feel bad for the "bad guy," Lawrence. Marie was kind of mean towards him for a time. And for a while, I didn't feel like he necessarily did much to warrant it. Then he did go to far and I understood her actions after.Is this a series? I would read it if it were a series.

ExcellentThis was an amazing book that I absolutely loved reading. Excellent writing and a book that has everything one could want, love, murder, betrayal, lies, passion and loss. Sin and Sorrow is a slow stretch of vampires and vampire hunters. I liked the concept of a woman seeking revenge and go to great lengths to do it, but I didn’t find Marie as compelling as I expected.
